Canon cameras was looking to expand on its market share among its competitors. My team and I found through research that many amateur and professional photographers prefer the lenses from other manufacturers but are forced to use only one brand of lens. We developed a camera body that would accept lenses from competing manufactures such as Nikon and Sony. The reason for this product is many consumers prefer a certain manufacturers lenses and a different manufactures camera body. This new product would allow the consumer to have the best of both worlds. With this camera, the user could choose Canon for the body, and whatever lens that is manufactured for the competition. This camera was then branded the EVO because of its evolutionary offerings.
